A wine tasting at Weingut Dr Nägler promises an enjoyable experience that will deepen your senses as well as your knowledge of wine.
The winery, known for its high-quality wines, offers a relaxed yet educational atmosphere for all wine lovers. You will taste Pinot Noir, Riesling dry, Riesling Kabinett feinherb, Riesling Spätlese fruity. We grow our grapes in the UNESCO World Heritage Site ‘Upper Middle Rhine Valley’. The extremely steep, rocky quartz and slate soils of the Rüdesheimer Berg produce Riesling wines with a rich spectrum of flavours and fruity acidity.
The Dr Nägler winery has been growing and producing Riesling for six generations, since 1826, and Riesling is our main grape variety, covering 90% of our 21 hectares of vineyards. Our range is supplemented by a smaller proportion of Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc. You will taste Pinot Noir, Riesling trocken vom Schiefer, Riesling Kabinett trocken and Riesling Spätlese fruchtig. The owner and cellar master will personally present the wines. The pre-booking period is 48 hours.The wine tasting always takes place on Fridays at 5.30 pm for bookings of 2 or more people.
