The castle cruise from/to Rüdesheim takes about 1.5 hours and goes to the impressive Rheinstein Castle near Trechtingshausen. The tour departs Monday through Friday at 3:30 p.m., with several departures on weekends. During the tour, an audio guide provides lots of interesting information about the castles and sights along the route. Among other things, you will see Brömserburg Castle, the ruins of Ehrenfels Castle, Klopp Castle, the famous Mouse Tower, and the Niederwald Monument.

An absolute highlight awaits you this season on the MS “Rheingau” as part of the popular castle tour:
A floating exhibition on board the MS “Rheingau”
During the regular scheduled trips between Rüdesheim/Bingen and Trechtingshausen, selected works from the RHEIN!ROMANTIK? project will be presented. A2-format copies by artists with close ties to the region will be on display.
The exhibition is freely accessible and part of everyday life on board – art in the heart of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley landscape.
All interested visitors are cordially invited to the vernissage on Friday, March 20, at 4:00 p.m. at the Assmanshausen pier.
